How to service your Lift Efoil Motor. Lip Seals and Oil Change

This blog will walk you through the replacement of the two Lip seals and perform your own oil change.  EfoilSolutions provides a full kit but cannot offer technical assistance.  If you purchase this kit and require help, please contact Frank at frank.strutzke@googlemail.com.  This kit is available here. Note: It will be easier to perform these repairs with the mast removed.  Step 1If the Lift LCS is installed, remove the prop. For a conventional prop, remove the center bolt, then pull out the propeller and pin (the pin may fall out, make sure not to lose it).  If the propeller is jammed, you may try to: a. lightly tap on it, b. soak it in water for about an hour, or, c....

"ONE PROP TO RULE THEM ALL" V2 Toroidal, Test Report by Mateo B.

Jeff kindly sent me a 3D printed version of his new prop to test. This was not the final version, and as it was printed, it was plastic, not Aluminum. The results from testing are amazing, truly a step forward, and I wanted to share them… Of all my props, (and I have a lot of props!) this new prop: 1) ‘feels’ the best. 2) has the longest run time. Feel; Quantifying feel is impossible; here are my best descriptions: The prop feels ‘lighter’…it spins up faster, while providing great ‘bite’ (ability to accelerate). When rolling off the throttle, the prop offers less resistance, it allows the wing to glide farther and requires less weight shift to maintain proper...

How to fit your Streamline I Propeller to various Waydoo models

Since it was first introduced, Waydoo made several design changes around the motor and stabilization wing that affect the connection of the Streamline Propeller to the motor casing.   The EfoilSolutions Streamline I kit includes three components: a cylindrical casing that covers the prop casing and provides a smooth transition (The "cone"), The propeller, and the cap that screws onto the shaft and holds the prop in place. If you ride the Flyer One Plus or the Flyer One with the Upgrade Kit, choose the cone with the protection wedge for the stabilizer wing.  If you ride any other Waydoo model, choose the cone piece without the wedge. The cone has four mounting holes.  Use the original screws to connect the cone to...
